Technician/Senior Technician - Test and Validation

The Test and Validation Technician carries out test procedures as well as the assembly and set up of mechanical validation tests. Producing test rig components from drawings and operating the test rigs when required. The Technician produces test summary documentation when required and works with other team members to solve problems in a timely manner.

The Senior Technician will have already attained a high level of competence in fulfilling the responsibilities as a Test and Validation Technician or similar related experience.

To succeed you will need to be HNC/D qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject. You will be Proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and Outlook. Mechanical assembly skills will be required and the ability to follow procedures accurately. You must have good people skills and be able to work individually or as part of a team along with a good awareness of health and safety and the importance of this within a working environment.

Previous experience with fabrication and machining skills, Hydraulic test equipment and NDT - Die Pen Testing would be highly advantageous.
