We are seeking an Aftersales Buyer to join our Parts & Accessories Purchasing team. you will be responsible for sourcing a range of commodity groups across a global supplier base, while collaborating closely with Triumph facilities worldwide to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to supply chain management. Supporting the ongoing success of Triumph Genuine Parts and Accessories, you will play a key role in maintaining stock availability, optimising inventory levels, and ensuring continuity of supply to meet customer demand and deliver an exceptional ownership experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and secure best value for Triumph Genuine Parts and Accessories.
  • Manage material requirements planning, including purchase order scheduling and delivery expediting.
  • Support parts supply requirements for both current and legacy Triumph models.
  • Support the development and introduction of new Accessories products with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective supplier and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and service delivery
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations and process improvements
  • Utilise purchasing systems and reporting tools to produce accurate data and reports.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree educated, achieving a 2:1 classification or above.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly self-motivated, customer-focused, and an effective communicator.
  • Previous sourcing, negotiation, or supplier relationship management experience would be advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and low-volume manufacturing methods would be beneficial.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 39hrs per week.
