As a Design Engineer in our Value Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of our motorcycles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of motorcycle design and innovation, where your contributions will directly impact the quality and value of our products.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying cost-effective engineering solutions while maintaining the premium quality that Triumph is known for. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure that design proposals are not only innovative but also feasible and aligned with our business objectives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting design reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Utilising engineering principles and tools to analyse designs and optimise performance.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to source materials and components that meet design specifications.
  • Preparing and presenting technical documentation and reports to stakeholders.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into our design processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with demonstrable experience in design engineering within the automotive or motorcycle industry. Strong analytical skills, creativity, and a passion for motorcycles are essential, alongside proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools.
