We are currently seeking Design Engineers / Senior Design Enginner / Project Engineers to join our Chassis Design Team. Our Design Department consists of project teams who are responsible for the design, development and validation of our iconic motorcycles. To support the immediate development of a new model, this role takes responsibility for new components/systems as required to support NMIP deliverables.

 

As part of this role you will be responsible for the design of new motorcycle components within a chassis team, with consideration given to manufacturing method(s), component life cycle, finishing, assembly, cost, homologation etc. As a Senior Design Engineer / Project Engineer, you will have experience in 3D parametric modelling and creating technical drawings. You will also have knowledge of fundamental manufacturing processes including injection moulding, casting and forging. You will be required to produce fully detailed drawings on CAD to BS 8888 and responsible for the release of new components using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes.

 

You will be a dynamic individual with a passion for engineering and the drive and determination to create authentic motorcycles. You will have excellent communications skills, be able to work individually as well as part of a team, and have the ability to meet tight deadlines to agreed timescales.

Previous experience in the use and application of PTC Creo and BS 8888 respectively, and experience of FEA, preferably Creo Simulate would be advantageous, however this is not essential.
