Engineer - Electronic Control Systems (Component Hardware)

To allow for the introduction of new and exciting automotive technology across our range of motorcycles, the Electrical & Electronic Systems department is expanding and is looking to bring in talented, passionate and driven engineers, to support our future model development.

We are currently seeking additional Engineers to work within our Electrical & Electronics Systems team. This role will include the design and specification of Electrical/Electronic Components for use in chassis, powertrain, suspension or HMI systems and the continuous improvement of these to advance design procedures, advise best practice and improve efficiency. They will work with existing worldwide suppliers and identify potential new suppliers to ensure timely introduction of new ECU’s as well as specifying, verifying and validating components to meet Functional Safety Goals

You will need to have a BEng or MEng in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or a HND in relevant subject coupled with relevant experience. You will be proficient in hardware specification, requirements capture/management and test case generation with excellent trouble shooting skills.

Previous knowledge of CAN communication and familiarity with tools such as CANalyser / CANoe (or similar) and experience with PREEvision and Matlab would be an advantage.
