Temporary Parts and Accessories Buyer (12 mth FTC)

Triumph has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Buyer (Parts and Accessories) to join our busy Parts and Accessories Purchasing Team, our Buyers really do cover product from the cradle to the grave, from supporting genuine parts for a minimum of 12 years after end of OE production to working with the Accessory design department and delivering Accessory product in line with our key dates. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sourcing of motorcycle components world-wide.  The Buyer will manage supplier relationships (New and current), negotiate contracts/costs, ensure on time, full deliveries, manage stock levels in line with company policy and control any obsolete stock.

You’ll need to have strong numerical, verbal and written skills with previous experience of writing concise and accurate reports. You’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with Design and Manufacturing colleagues in addition to external suppliers and other buyers. Your previous experience working in a fast paced procurement/logistics department will put you in good stead for this role. Ideally you will have working knowledge of AS400 operating system and the ability to work with Microsoft Access.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
