To allow for the introduction of new and exciting automotive technology across our range of motorcycles, the Electrical & Electronic Systems department is expanding and is looking to bring in talented, passionate and driven engineers, to support our future model development.

We are currently seeking additional Senior Engineers to work within our Electronic Control Systems team. Team activities include the design of Electronic Control Systems for use in chassis, powertrain, suspension or HMI systems. The role will include liaison with other design teams in order to develop system requirements and the continuous improvement of these to advance design procedures, advise best practice and improve efficiency. They will work with existing worldwide suppliers and identify potential new suppliers to ensure timely introduction of new ECU’s. The team work closely with the Functional Safety Engineers to ensure we can verifying and validate systems to meet Functional Safety Goals.

You will need to have a BEng or MEng in Systems Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or a HND in relevant subject coupled with relevant experience. You will be proficient in Systems design – modelling (UML / SYSML), requirements capture / management and test case review and possess excellent problem solving skills.

Previous knowledge of CAN communication and familiarity with tools such as CANalyser / CANoe (or similar) and experience with PREEvision. Altia or Matlab would be an advantage.
