To allow for the introduction of new and exciting automotive technology across our range of motorcycles, the Electrical & Electronic Systems department is expanding and is looking to bring in talented, passionate and driven engineers, to support our future model development. This role is a contract role which will focus specifically the Test and Validation of Electronic Control Systems.

The Test and Validation Engineer will create / follow test plans for control systems, components and instruments (HMI) and run manual and automated black box tests, collating and analysing the results. They will document and track issues found during testing and create periodic test reports to show progress, e.g. JIRA, as well as rolling out software updates to bikes and configuration tracking.

You will need to hold a BEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Systems or a HND in relevant subject and possess the relevant experience. You will be proficient in Systems test and validation and test case generation and have excellent trouble shooting skills. You will need to have detailed knowledge of CAN communication and familiarity with tools such as CANalyser / CANoe / vTESTstudio (or similar) along with script development e.g. CAPL, Python, Perl (or similar).

Previous experience with JIRA or similar, PREEvision and experience with Software development (C, C++ or similar) would be an advantage to your application.

This role is a contract role and will be required to support projects until April 2020.
